Education Committee

The MAP Education committee is responsible for planning  including selection of topics and speakers for our  our monthly educational seminar series know as MAP LIVE!

The Education Committee wants to provide value to our members and non-members by providing informative panel discussions on the media industry,trends and best practices.

We encourge all members and non-members to attend MAP LIVE events. They provide an opportunity to learn and to network with media experts.

Proceeds from the Celebration Committee events benefit The Michael Wolff Scholarship Fund which allows the Education committee to select a student each year a monetary reward for studies related to Media, Marketing and Advertising.

Celebration Committee

The MAP celebration Committee is the “Social and Fund Raising Arm” of Pittsburgh’s premiere media-networking group.

The Celebration Committee organizes the most of the organizations social and award events. Some of these events include:
The Outstanding Achievement in Media Awards (OAMA’s)
Beer & Big Shots
The Media All-Star Awards
The MAP Holiday Party
MAPpy Hour Events
Many of the events the Celebration Committee plans include both a social, networking and fund  raising component.
The proceeds from the Celebration Committees fund raising efforts go to benefit the Michael Wolff Scholarship fund. We encourage all members and non-members to attend these great events for networking, socializing and most  importantly raising money for a great cause.
