Because the Media Association of Pittsburgh is a local non-profit organization, a significant amount of our proceeds support a scholarship fund for students focusing on media and communication degrees.
The Michael Wolff Scholarship is dedicated to providing monetary reward to underwrite the college/university careers of Media related majors.
Congratulations to our 2011 Michael Wolff Scholarship winner, Sadie Stresky!
A 2009 graduate of Deer Lakes High School, Sadie is currently a sophomore pursuing a communication major at Saint Vincent College. She is the oldest daughter of Marshall and Lisa Stresky of Allison Park. Sadie is involved in a number of activities at Saint Vincent including Advertising Club (President), Alpha Phi Omega (Communication Chair), Public Relations Student Society of America, Marketing Matrix, Women in Business, and the Bearcat Cheerleading team. She is on the Dean’s List and belongs to the honors fraternity Alpha Lambda Delta. Upon graduation, Sadie hopes to pursue a career in the Pittsburgh area in public relations or advertising.
